With the 'Speaker of the Knesset Medal', Prime Minister Modi has joined the select group of global leaders who have received the top honours from both Israel and Palestine.
PM Modi will pay a State visit to Israel on February 25-26 at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Tuesday.
During the visit, Modi and Netanyahu will review the significant progress made in India - Israel Strategic Partnership, and discuss further opportunities in various areas of cooperation, the MEA said.
"In the vision I see before my eyes, we will create a complete system of alliances around or within the Middle East. An axis of countries that see reality, the challenges, and the goals with one eye, facing the radical axis," the Israeli Prime Minister said.
