Over the past 20 days, the force conducted more than a dozen encounters, neutralizing several criminals and apprehending others in half-encounters.
As part of Mission Shakti 5.0, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the “Shakti Samvad – A Platform for the Voices of Girls and Women” initiative was organized across Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, marking the conclusion of the International Girl Child Week.
On Wednesday, over 9.04 lakh women, adolescent girls, and students across 4,500 centres in the district simultaneously consumed iron folic acid tablets, transforming the symbolic “red pill” into an emblem of health and empowerment.
On the first day of the programme, organised by the Department of Women and Child Development, more than 3,000 girls registered, including daughters from both rural and urban areas, who participated enthusiastically.
In a major push to empower women and reinforce their safety and dignity, a massive statewide bike rally was organised on Sunday across all districts of Uttar Pradesh under the "Mission Shakti 5.0" initiative.
Ministers and officials from all districts joined this historic moment via video conferencing.
