Widely regarded as one of the most elite youth competitions in world football, the MIC Cup features top academies from Europe and the Americas.
The young squad created history earlier this year by clinching the Dana Cup (Denmark), Norway Cup and Gothia Cup (Sweden), earning India unprecedented global recognition in age-group football.
The ceremony began with an address by the Norwegian Ambassador, who emphasised that “sports can work as a bridge and forge strong bonds between our countries.”
Minerva Academy FC made history as it became the first-ever Indian club to clinch the Gothia Cup being held in Sweden on Saturday, defeating Ordin FC, a Brazillian side.
