Displaying ’empty trunk’, Tejasvi Surya detained during protest in Bengaluru

BJP Yuva Morcha National President and Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya protested against the Bengaluru Metro fare hike by travelling with an empty trunk at R.V. Road Metro Station. The protest, held with BJP workers and MLA C.K. Ramamurthy, led to a confrontation with police and his brief detention, as leaders accused the state government of burdening commuters with steep fare increases.
