The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has issued non-bailable warrant (NBW) against the principal secretary, Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh government.
A bench comprising Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh made the observations while rejecting the bail plea of BSP MP Atul Kumar Singh a.k.a. Atul Rai.
The court said that enforcing a notice period on the couple is tantamount to intruding on their fundamental right to privacy and liberty.
