State govt makes initial allotment of `2.48cr for Lakshmir Bhandar
According to the allotment order issued by state women and child development and social welfare department on 27 September, "this allotment is issued to provide a contingency fund in connection with the implementation of Lakshmir Bhandar.

Dwivedi has asked district magistrates to ensure that elected panchayat members, clubs and villagers are kept out of assisting women in filling up application forms of Lakshmi Bhandar in rural areas and asked the DMs to use Kanyashree beneficiaries, members of self-help groups and college students for the purpose.
