Investigators found that multiple bank accounts had been opened using the name of a fictitious firm, Belcrest India Pvt. Ltd., which was linked to 57 cyber-fraud complaints nationwide.
All these sentences will run concurrently for a maximum of 10 years of RI. The accused also faces a fine of Rs 5,000, with 6 months of additional sentence in the event of default in payment.
Shimla Singh, a member of the gangster-turned-terrorist Arsh Dalla’s network in the state, also provided logistic support to shooters involved in the murder of Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau.
Sources said though Savad changed his hideouts, he did not leave Kerala even after NIA issued a lookout notice for him.
