Following complaints raised by Wangchuk late Friday night, he was taken from the Central Jail to AIIMS Jodhpur in the early hours of Saturday (around 6:30 am) under police custody.
Hearing his bail plea, the division bench of Acting Chief Justice Sanjiv Prakash Sharma, granted him a six-month bail for medical treatment.
The Board, headed by Justice MK Hanjura (Retired) of the J&K High Court, on Friday met Wangchuk in the Jodhpur Central Jail and held a hearing of the case.
Following his conviction, the Bollywood actor spent a day in prison in Jodhpur Central Jail. He was housed in one of the cells as Qaidi No. 106.
