For further investigations, the arrested persons are being handed over to the Delhi Police, as the preliminary findings suggest that the suspects were plotting attacks in different parts of the country.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said following the disclosure of Baljit Malhi, the police team has managed to apprehend Harpreet Singh alias Har Sarpanch, a close aide of Italy-based gangster Harpreet Singh alias Happy Sanghera.
With this arrest, the Punjab Police has blown up Pakistan’s ISI’s nexus with Gurpatwant Singh Pannu’s campaign for Sikh Referendum 2020, and the conspiracy hatched by ISI-backed SFJ to spread mayhem in Punjab and other parts of India, the Director General of Police (DGP) Suresh Arora said.
