Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday held the Janata Darshan as part of his regular public outreach, personally hearing grievances from citizens across the state and directing officials to ensure time-bound resolution of each case.
The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has called for the Intellectual Property (IP) system to be strengthened to fully recognise indigenous people's ownership of their traditional knowledge.
'If politicians use IP as a political tool, they will destroy confidence in the patent protection system. If some governments selectively strip companies of their IP, it will break the foundation of global innovation.'
