In a post on X following the tabling of the Economic Survey 2025–26, PM Modi noted that the document underscores strong macroeconomic fundamentals, sustained growth momentum, and the expanding contributions of innovation, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure in nation-building.
The prime minister underlined that this agreement with 27 countries will benefit Indian startups by easing access to funding and innovation ecosystems, while also boosting India’s creative economy in film, gaming, fashion, digital content, music, and design.
“Growth is projected to moderate to 6.4% in 2026 and 2027 as cyclical and temporary factors wane,” the IMF said in an update to its World Economic Outlook report.
He noted that Canada and India are natural allies whose complementary strengths create significant opportunities for businesses and investors in both countries.
Addressing the NDTV World Summit, PM Modi highlighted India's confidence saying, "India is not in the mood to stop today! We will neither pause nor slow down. 140 crore Indians will move forward together with full momentum."
