Taking yet another significant step for the welfare of farmers in the State, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has demanded exemption in GST on 10 agricultural implements used in crop residue management from the Central Government.
Even before the decision, some states, including Jammu and Kashmir and Assam, had amended their laws to increase the Rs 10 lakh threshold to Rs 20 lakh.
