The rally, attended by Singhbhum MP Joba Majhi, Minister Deepak Birua, and several JMM legislators, included tributes to the late Ramdas Soren and political appeals highlighting tribal identity and local development.
The complaint was filed by Babu Lal Soren through Kiran Soren, Junior Engineer at Sinchai Pramandal, Galudih, who also serves with the Flying Squad Team No. 1, Group-A, 45-Ghatshila.
Marandi alleged rampant corruption in sand, mineral, iron, and coal sectors under the chief minister’s protection, while essential services such as hospitals, schools, pensions, and housing schemes remain inaccessible to the poor.
The by-election has stirred political activity in the tribal belt of the state.
