A Special CBI Court here on Monday sentenced a Station Superintendent in Operation Section, East Coast Railway, Khurda Road Division to three-year rigorous imprisonment on the charge of fraudulently availing housing loan from a nationalized bank by furnishing forged salary slips and employer’s undertaking for deduction of EMI.
TDP leaders have dubbed the arrest as an act of political vendetta, as Patrudu is known to be one of the staunchest critics of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP.
