The two-day event is being organised by the Department of Forensic Science and Himachal Pradesh University in collaboration with Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Northern Range, Dharamshala.
"We are trying to focus on ensuring that forensic science teams compulsorily reach all crime (scenes) where the punishment is more than six years. If we have to do this, then in more than 600 districts across the country, one forensic science laboratory, even if small, will have to be set up along with a mobile forensic van,"
