India men's hockey team defender and vice-captain Harmanpreet Singh has been voted the FIH Player of the Year for the second year running.

De Goede has been a fixture of the Netherlands' team since her debut in 2006. In 2018, she was part of the team that won the Women's World Cup and just a few months later she was voted Player of the Tournament at the last Hockey Champions Trophy in China.
Manpreet played a crucial role in leading the team to a berth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics this year. He has 242 international caps to his name and is a stalwart in midfield for the Indian team.
