Orissa High Court takes strong exception to misuse of National Emblem

Several instances have been indicated in a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a civil society group in Ganjam district where such misuse is apparent and evident and, therefore, this Court has taken a serious note in this regard, a Division Bench of Chief Justice Harish Tandon and Justice Murahari Sri Raman stated.

SC takes exception to statements against it

Telling the petitioner that the issue raised by him is a policy matter falling within the domain of the Central government, a bench of Justice B R Gavai and Justice Augustine George Masih remarked, “… We are accused that we are interfering with the executive and legislative functions.”
