J&K govt approves plan to engage 4000 ex-servicemen for protection of vital infrastructure

In a major step towards strengthening community-based security and harnessing the capabilities of former military personnel, the Jammu and Kashmir government has approved a plan under which 4,000 Ex-Servicemen (ESM) volunteers will protect the critical infrastructure in all 20 districts of the Union Territory (UT).
