Ex-Agniveers will have an option to take up the jobs as constables (executive) in the Delhi Police as the force will reserve 20 per cent of the aforementioned posts for them, according to a recently issued Home Ministry notification on Friday.
These candidates will not have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Also, they will be eligible for three years' age relaxation, with an additional five-year relaxation for candidates from the first batch of the scheme.
On Wednesday the Additional Directorate General of Public Information dubbed the move as a New Milestone in Inter-Ministerial Cooperation.
