The DMK has decided not to attend the INDI bloc meeting scheduled for June 8 in New Delhi. The party attributed the decision to the sentiments of its cadre, who remain upset over Congress' political stand after the Assembly elections.
The committee, comprising senior party leaders, would coordinate with the district and Assembly segment levels and devise the campaign strategy for the polls, to strengthen the party affairs and galvanise the workers in achieving its goal of dethroning the ruling DMK, which Vijay had said that it was his political enemy and that the polls was between a straight between his party and DMK.
