Digital arrest scams under SC lens: MHA forms high-level panel, seeks time to finalise action plan

The Central government has filed a status report in the Supreme Court on the rising number of digital arrest scams in the country. It informed the court that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has constituted a high-level interdepartmental committee to address concerns related to digital arrests.
