Delhi govt gives nod to free bus travel for transgender persons

In an important step towards inclusive governance, the Chief Minister Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government has approved a proposal to include transgender passengers in the free bus travel scheme across all the routes of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and buses run by theTransport Department.
