After Curacao qualified for the FIFA World Cup, a Rajya Sabha MP questioned the government on India’s football future, highlighting gaps in development despite growing public passion for the sport.
"At one time the sun was shining, while in the second half there was a storm. After we changed few things in the half-time we started playing better," Stimac said.
India had the better share of possession in the first half but were caught out defensively by Curacao on a number of occassions which led to them conceding the three goals.
