India renews appeal for early end to Gulf conflict; opposes attacks on merchant shipping

With the Opposition questioning the Modi government’s stand on the ongoing crisis in West Asia, India on Tuesday reiterated its call for dialogue and diplomacy and strongly raised its voice in favour of an early end to the conflict.
