Veteran Congress leader P P Thankachan passes away at 87

Thankachan was under treatment for respiratory ailments in the intensive care unit of the Rajagiri Hospital in Aluva. According to the hospital bulletin, Thankachan breathed his last at 4.30 pm on Thursday.
