Indian Railways approves Rs 993 crore Arakkonam-Chengalpattu doubling project

"The section forms part of the important Chennai suburban circular rail network connecting Chennai Beach, Tambaram, Chengalpattu and Arakkonam," the Ministry of Railways said on Tuesday.
