On the ocassion of National Space Day, ISRO also unveiled the model of the Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS) in Delhi.
The mission to the moon constitutes demonstration of the technologies to come back to Earth after successfully landing on the moon and also collect moon samples and analyse them on Earth.
He also said internal discussions are on about the next moon mission – Chandrayaan-4 as to what it should achieve differently that was not done by others.
