Held at Rajasthan Bhawan, the session was convened by Dr Monica B Sood, Convenor of the Intellectual Cell, BJP Chandigarh, along with the cell’s core team. BJP Chandigarh President Jitender Pal Malhotra attended the event as the chief guest.
The BJP registered a decisive victory in the Chandigarh mayoral polls, with Saurabh Joshi elected Mayor after defeating AAP and Congress candidates in the Municipal Corporation.
Tandon condemned what he termed AAP’s “moral collapse”, alleging that the party has stooped to targeting family members of its own former councillor who recently severed ties with the AAP and joined the BJP.
