Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Tuesday, underscored the growing importance of innovation and advanced technology in modern warfare, stating that battles today are increasingly being fought through data and algorithms rather than solely on the battlefield.
The defence minister further highlighted the bravery and patriotism displayed by the Indian soldiers during various battles fought during the war, including the Battle of Asal Uttar, Battle of Chawinda and Battle of Phillora.
Addressing a press meet with Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw, Mr Modi said the loss of innocent lives in any crisis has become the biggest challenge for the entire humanity. India firmly believes that no problem can be solved on the battlefield.
The United Kingdom is imparting basic infantry skills to Ukrainian soldiers at four locations in the country.
