A single bench of Justice A Badharudeen made the remarks while hearing arguments by the prosecution, which stated that the gold plating of the door frames and the Dwarapalaka idols had been entrusted to Unnikrishnan Potty.
A Bench of Justice Aravind Kumar and Justice NV Anjaria reserved the judgment, likely to be delivered on December 19 before the Court’s winter break, after the conclusion of arguments by the Delhi Police opposing the bail pleas.

Khan was found guilty under Section 51 of the Act while he was in Jodhpur during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu, who were the co-accused in the case, were acquitted.
