The ED made the arrest after questioning Sisodia for eight hours inside the Tihar jail as part of its money laundering probe into the alleged irregularities in the 2021-22 excise policy of Delhi, officials said.
At present, Aryan is lodged at the Arthur Road Jail along with another accused Arbaaz Merchant. Whereas, Munmun Dhamecha is at Byculla women's prison. The hearing will resume on Thursday afternoon.
The arguments in the bail pleas of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were completed last week and Special NDPS Judge V.V. Patil had deferred the verdict till Wednesday.
Advocate Rebecca John appeared for Jacob, while Vrinda Grover is representing Muluk in the case. Special Prosecutor Irfan Ahmed appear for the State.
Khan was found guilty under Section 51 of the Act while he was in Jodhpur during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu, who were the co-accused in the case, were acquitted.
