These projects include Sainthia–Pakur 4th line and Santragachi–Kharagpur 4th line. The total estimated cost of the projects is Rs 4,474 crore and will be completed up to 2030-31

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday approved the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme with a funding of Rs 22,919 crore to make India 'Atmanirbhar' in the electronics supply chain.
The CSIR chief said through their 37 laboratories across the country, they can bring in ‘Atmanirbharta’ for indigenisation of technologies.
The package includes allotment of 4G/5G spectrum for the BSNL through equity infusion. The authorised capital of the company will be increased from Rs 1,50,000 crore to Rs 2,10,000 crore.
