This will the first NDA rally in Andhra Pradesh after the TDP rejoined the BJP-led alliance.
YS Avinash, whose name cropped up in the murder of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy, was renominated from Kadapa.
Along with Lok Sabha elections, assembly polls will be held in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh.
According to sources, the TDP will contest 17 Lok Sabha seats, while the BJP and Jana will contest 6 and two, respectively.
However, Pawan later distanced from BJP, targeting it for going back on its promise to confer special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Prashant Kishor is also credited for formulating the election strategy for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 elections.
