India's first “Assessor Training Program” based on Ambulance Service Accreditation Standards was successfully conducted in Pune through the joint initiative of the Health Sector Skill Council and BVG India Limited.
He emphasised that the service will cater to all residents and be fully accessible at no cost. “This ambulance service is completely free. It is a 100 per cent free service; no charges will be levied on the public,” he said.
Patients will receive prompt assistance from the nearest available ambulance, ensuring timely and efficient medical care, Khattar added.
The Minister said, "The service is similar to the 112 emergency service number. The new service will pave the way for the speedy treatment of critically ill cows".
