On Saturday, the Maharashtra government led by Eknath Shinde issued a government resolution (GR) making it mandatory for all government employees to say 'Vande Mataram' instead of 'Hello' while receiving telephone or mobile phone calls, saying that the word 'hello' is an imitation of Western culture.
"CAA is against the Constitution. If the BJP government does not take back this law, we will come out on the streets and another Shaheen Bagh will come up here," Owaisi said, addressing a public meeting in Barabanki on Sunday evening.
Referring to the mob attack on the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan, Owaisi said that Imran Khan should safeguard the Sikh population.
Addressing the RSS's Vijayadashmi rally at Nagpur, Bhagwat said it was wrong to use the term lynching in the Indian context and words like lynching are alien to Bharat and belong elsewhere.
Owaisi said it was unfortunate that the minds of youth, who had not seen the communal riots and demolition of Babri Masjid, were also poisoned.
