Bangladesh measles outbreak: Death toll crosses 600 as 7 children die in 24 hours
After the latest fatalities, the cumulative number of suspected and confirmed measles-related deaths in the South Asian country has reached 601 since March 15.
In conversation with ‘ The Statesman Talk,’ Rajya Sabha MP P Sandosh Kumar stated that CPI is the first political party to condemn the recent developments in Bangladesh and says it stands with the genuine rights of minorities there. He also emphasised that the party firmly supports rights of the minorities.

After the latest fatalities, the cumulative number of suspected and confirmed measles-related deaths in the South Asian country has reached 601 since March 15.
This comes after the Bangladeshi government had temporarily extended the closing tome to 10 p.m. during the Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
