Rishabh could have easily kept a driver which could have helped him avert the mishap. This was what Kapil Dev said when a news channel asked for his comment on the road accident where the cricketer sustained injury.
A couple of days after Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant sustained injury at a road accident on the way back to his home in Roorkee, legendary cricketer, Kapil Dev said that the promising batsman could have easily hired a driver.
In a piece of advice shared to Pant, the former Indian Captain said that there was no need for Rishabh to drive his Mercedes. He said Rishabh could have averted the fatal incident had he kept a driver.
In a recent conversation with a prominent news channel, the veteran cricketer said, “when I was still a young cricketer, I faced a motorcycle accident. From that day onwards, my brother didn’t even let me touch the motorbike. I’m just thankful to the God that Rishabh Pant is safe.”

“Yes, you have a good-looking car with great speeds, but you have to be careful. You can easily afford a driver; you don’t have to drive it alone. I understand that one has hobbies or even passion for such things, it’s natural to have it at his age, but you also have responsibilities.
Only you can take care of yourself. You have to decide things for yourself,” he said.
Notably, the accident took place when Rishabh was trying to avoid a pothole and his car collided with the divider. Then Pant was rushed to the Max Hospital in Dehradun where he has been undergoing treatment.
