ICC Women’s T20I ranking: Deepti Sharma rise to joint 2nd in bowling rankings, Renuka at 10th spot
At the top of the T20I bowlers' rankings, Englishwoman Sophie Ecclestone continued to be unopposed.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday (1 August) unveiled the teams that will be participating in women’s T20 Challenger Trophy starting from August 14-21 at Alur.
All-rounder Deepti Sharma has been named the skipper of the India Red side while India’s One Day International (ODI) skipper Mithali Raj will lead the India Blue that comprises national team players like wicketkeeper Taniya Bhatia, Poonam Yadav, among others.
Star batswoman Veda Krishnamurthy will lead the India Green team in the tournament.
