Indian women’s team to tour Bangladesh for five-match T20I series
The three night games will be played in the main stadium, and the two day games will be held at the outer venue. The night games will start at 6.30pm local time and day games at 2pm.
Mona Meshram scored unbeaten 14 runs off 12 balls.
Riding on Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (42 runs off 37 balls) and Deepti Sharma’s 32-run cameo, Indian women cricket team put a respectable total of 141 runs for seven wickets on Wednesday at the Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur, against Bangladesh women.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Harmanpreet Kaur opted to bat first against Salma Khatun-led Bangladesh in the 9th match of the Women’s Asia Cup. However, soon the decision backfired as India lost opener Smriti Mandhana (2 runs off 4 balls) in the second over of the game to Salma Khatun.
Following Mandhana’s departure, Pooja Vastraker (20 runs off 20 balls) joined Mithali Raj (15 runs off 12 balls) at the crease but soon Raj was sent back for a run-out; Vastraker came next.

After two run-outs, skipper Harmapreet and all-rounder Deepti Sharma stabilised the Indian innings. However, Salma Khatun broke Kaur-Deepti’s partnership by sending them to the pavilion in successive overs.
Meanwhile, Mona Meshram scored unbeaten 14 runs off 12 balls.
