It’s safe to say that Ederson has had quite the impact during his debut season with Manchester City, but the Brazilian custodian has gone one step further by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest-ever drop kick.

And Ederson came close to winning the Golden Glove in his maiden season, eventually falling just short as Manchester United’s David de Gea beat him to that accolade.

De Gea edged him to feature in the PFA Team of the Year as well, but the ‘rivalry’ between the two keepers of the Manchester giants just adds to the already complex nature of the Manchester Derby.
