Usually clubs take digs at each other before and after clashes but post Manchester United’s triumph over Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final, the competition’s official Twitter handle took a massive swipe at Harry Kane, much to the delight of all rival supporters.
Me: What’s that in your pocket, Chris?

United edged Spurs 2-1 in a tense semi-final at Wembley Stadium, with Dele Alli firing the Lilywhites ahead but the Red Devils responded with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera to extend the North Londoners’ miserable FA Cup semi-final run.
The North Londoners fell at the last-four hurdle for the eight time on the trot, with Kane in particular struggling to make an impact.
The defensive duo of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones kept the Premier League’s most prolific marksman of the past few seasons quiet on the night and social media was inundated with memes mocking Kane, with the FA Cup joining in on the act as well.
Kane, despite being in the midst of his best-ever season (in terms of goals) to date, has come under a lot of stick from rival fans of late.
The 24-year-old was desperate to claim a goal initially awarded to teammate Christan Eriksen in Spurs’ 2-1 win earlier in April and while the Premier League did eventually award the strike to him, his efforts to retain the Golden Boot were mocked to no end.
Mauricio Pochettino went so far as saying that all the chatter had affected the striker and he had learned a valuable lesson, but clearly Kane was rattled and failed to fire in a crucial game.
