Indian skipper Virat Kohli has shut down his critics again and again with his performance. In the recently concluded India’s tour to South Africa, Virat shattered many records, including that of Australian cricket legend Allan Border by becoming the second highest run-scorer in a tour as a captain. The number one spot is held by former South Africa skipper Graeme Smith.

Virat Kohli scored 871 runs with the batting average of 79.18 in the three-Test matches, six One day International (ODI) matches and two T20I matches against the Proteas in the Rainbow Nation.

Notably, Virat was absent from the Third T20I due to the stiff back and in his absence, Rohit Sharma led the team.
