Second Sunday of May is celebrated as Mother’s Day every year to honour mothers, motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.

Meanwhile, the Indian sports fraternity, including shuttlers Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, cricketer Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and others took to the micro-blogging site Twitter, on Sunday, and extended their greetings on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

Veteran cricketer Sachin Tendulkar wrote, “She is the one who can take place of all others but her place cannot be taken by any other!
