Riding on a five-wicket haul by Shakib Al Hasan at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh scripted history as they registered a 20-run win over Australia on Wednesday, their maiden win against the Aussies in Test cricket.

Later named the Man Of The Match, Shakib bowled magical spells of 5/68 and 5/85 and scored 84 and five runs in two innings of the first Test at Mirpur.

Following the historic win, India’s cricket fraternity joined the celebration of the neighbouring nation. Leading icons Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag seemed in party moods among others from the cricket-frenzy nation.
