La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid have reportedly decided not to sign any more players in the January transfer window as club President Florentino Perez has asked team manager Zinedine Zidane to only use the available resources for the remaining 2019-20 season after quite an active summer 2019 transfer window.

According to a report carried by Don Balon, Perez is not happy with the performances of some of the new Real Madrid signings after spending over €310 million on new players in the summer window.

Players like Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo Goes and Takefusa Kubo were all drafted in the Los Blancos team in the summer window and other than Kubo all continue to be part of the Real Madrid set-up. Despite their presence, high profile signings like Hazard, Jovic and Mendy have not been able to impress the Real Madrid management.

Consequently, team President Perez has told Zidane to get the best out of his current squad, instead of roping in new players.

This effectively means that the likes of Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen, both of whom have been linked with a possible move to Real Madrid up until now, will have to wait till the start of the next season before a possible move to Madrid materialises.
