It is a widely reported fact now that Real Madrid are making a desperate attempt to add another midfielder in their team and if recent reports are to be believed, their search might have finally come to an end.

After widespread rumours and reports of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba being the interest of Real Madrid, Madrid’s potential deal with Manchester United regarding Pogba seemed to have met a dead end.

Latest tweet by journalist Marcelo Bechler now reveals that Madrid’s offered bid for Dutch player has been accepted by his club. The tweet also adds that the player has in fact said yes to the terms and conditions of Real Madrid and the deal could well be made official within the next few days.

Marcelo’s tweet in Portuguese loosely translates to “From what I’ve learned,
the thing goes further: there is already a proposal accepted by the
Dutch club and player. Van de Beek should sign for 5 or 6 years in the next
few days. Trading has been around for days” (Google Translate)
