La Liga giants Real Madrid had quite an active summer transfer window in which they spent heavily on several players. Eden Hazard was the most expensive of the out of the six-star players which Real Madrid signed with Luka Jovic behind him. However, recent reports reveal that Real Madrid are in no mood to settle down as of now and are in fact eyeing another Premier League star player. They are even set to break their own transfer record if the deal materialises and it is none other than Harry Kane who they are targeting.

According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid are willing to spend a hefty amount to bag Harry Kane in the forthcoming summer. The Los Blancos are therefore waiting to see how Tottenham Hotspur perform in the season which may have an impact on whether Kane decides to depart from the club or not.

The report goes on to add that if Hotspurs do not finish in the top four and their coach Mauricio Pochettinho leaves the club, Real Madrid would bid for Harry Kane. However, Real Madrid may have to sign as much as €200 Million to get him into their squad.

If the deal materialises, Harry Kane will automatically become the most expensive signing of club breaking records of players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Eden Hazard. Kane’s inclusion may even allow manager Zinedine Zidane to shift to a 4-4-2 formation.
