La Liga giants Real Madrid have finally got going in the season and find themselves at the top of the points tally after seven matches in the league. Los Blancos already have as many as six superstar players in the team and some of them are yet to hit their peak this season which means good news for all the Real Madrid fans. Reports are now claiming that Real Madrid are looking to target another superstar player in their team and it is none other than Christian Eriksen.

According to a report published by Daily Mail, Real Madrid are planning to begin negotiation talks with the agent of the Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen. Notably, the star player will be without a contract at the end of the season and it is this opportunity that Real Madrid would like to make the most of and get him in the team in the winter transfer window beginning in January.

The report also goes on to add that Eriksen’s agent will be arriving in Spain anytime soon to begin talks and consider a possible move to Real Madrid. Eriksen was linked with a move to the team even in the recently concluded summer transfer window but the deal could not materialise as Zinedine Zidane was not keen on the player.

However, the Real Madrid team management is still interested in bringing the star player in the team. Meanwhile, the two of Real Madrid’s massive summer signings Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic have still not shown what they are truly capable of. Fans and team management would be hoping that they get back to prime form as soon as possible.
