Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo left La Liga giants Real Madrid to join Juventus in the previous summer transfer window. His move to Juventus brought an end one of the most successful associations in European football. Ronaldo will try and have a similar association with Juventus. Now, recent reports suggest that one of his former Real Madrid teammate, Álvaro Odriozola, may join him at Juventus.

According to a report carried by Spanish news outlet, Don Balon, Juventus are trying to rope in Real Madrid defender Álvaro Odriozola. The right-back had joined Real Madrid before the 2018/19 season but has failed to cement his place in the starting XI.

On the other hand, Juventus had lost Joao Cancelo in the transfer window to Manchester City and got in Danilo in return. But the report adds that they are still looking for another player to try and cover that aspect of their game. Alvaro Odriozola’s name has emerged as an option.

The Spanish player is 23 years old and is currently not part of Zinedine Zidane’s plan since Zidane already has players like Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao whom he plays ahead of Odriozola. With the situation at hand, the inclusion of Odriozola in the Juventus squad will only be beneficial for both the teams. The report adds that Juventus are eyeing a loan move for the player.
