Although La Liga giants Real Madrid may have failed to draft in Paul Pogba from Manchester United, they still have a chance to bring in Neymar Jr in the ongoing transfer window. Notably, Real Madrid can do so before their rival team Barcelona.

Neymar initially wanted to move back to his former team Barcelona. However, now a fresh set of reports carried by MARCA, a Spanish national daily newspaper dedicated to sports, state that Neymar is not looking specifically for Barcelona but is desperate to leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) before the transfer window slams shut.

Although the movement to Real Madrid could be very difficult from here, it could still be a possibility if Madrid agree with the reported demands made by Paris Saint-Germain to release their star player.

The reports add that Paris Saint-Germain somehow want to make up for the 222 million euros they had spent to rope in the Brazilian forward in their team. They are looking for a player plus cash deal implying that they would accept half of that amount in cash and a player or two, in addition, to make for the deficit amount.

This means that somebody like a Gareth Bale could very well go to Paris Saint-Germain as part of this deal. Casemiro is another good option but Madrid are reportedly not willing to sell him. Another possible option could be Keylor Navas who could go to PSG in the ongoing transfer window.
