It’s raining milestones in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Wriddhiman Saha crossing batting marks in the league and the T20 format.

Delhi Capitals batsman Shreyas Iyer on Wednesday crossed the 4000-run mark in the T20 cricket during the IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, who also had a milestone to report with Saha going past 2000 runs in IPL.

Iyer, who struck an unbeaten 47 to help Capitals race to an eight-wicket win against SRH, now has 4,022 runs in T20 cricket.

His 4,022 runs came in 147 innings of 150 matches at an average of 32.43. The 26-year-old from Mumbai has struck two centuries and 24 half-centuries in the shortest version of the game. In IPL, Iyer has scored 2,247 runs in 80 matches.

Saha completed 2,000 runs in IPL during his knock of 18 as SRH managed a below-par 134/9 on batting first. He has 2005 runs in IPL off 107 innings off 127 matches. Overall in T20 cricket, Saha has scored 3,472 runs in 198 matches.

On Tuesday, Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul crossed the 3,000-run milestone in IPL. He reached 3,027 runs in 80 IPL innings, which makes him the second-fastest to have achieved such a feat after teammate Chris Gayle, who did that in 72 innings.

Gayle has scored the highest runs in T20 cricket, having played in leagues all over the world. He has scored a whopping 14,261 runs off 436 innings in T20 cricket. Among the Indians, Virat Kohli has scored the most runs in T20 cricket. He has 9,934 runs in 297 innings of 312 matches. Rohit Sharma is second among Indians with 9,315 runs off 337 innings.
